Changes:

    • Birthday Activities Do Not Get Created when you change a birthdate –
      • When a user enters a birthday for a contact, an activity is automatically created as a reminder for that contact. We corrected a issue which prevented new reminder activities from getting created if a birthday previously existed and changed to another date.
    • Make SMS messages with special characters not trigger the more expensive encoding format
      • Corrected an issue which caused the special character for an apostrophe to take more than one message block to send the SMS.  This resulted in multiple messages being sent via SMS which could have been completed with 1 message.
    • Allow users to input .ca addresses into Checklist Fields
      • Realtor.ca can now be entered and validated from a checklist item in an activity.  Previously only Realtor.com entries were allowed.. this update corrects this problem and allows Realtor.ca
    • Corrected dialer minutes monthly reset
      • Dialer minutes were not accurately renewed each month on some accounts this fix corrects the issue
    • Corrected Email Forwarding Feature previously removed by SendGrid
      • When replying to emails the “REPLY-TO” field allows for multiple email addresses – however, Sendgrid removed this feature and this caused emails to not be sent to the correct recipients.  This update corrects the issue so that all contacts and dropbox records can get copies of the email as needed.
    • Additional Google Sync Logging Added
      • This will allow engineers and support team to assist users with Google Sync challenges.

Fixes:

    • Add text about the order of Activities in the Workflow Editor –
      • To help prevent customer confusion, some explainer text is now added to let people know that activities don’t necessarily execute in the order that they appear in the Workflow Editor.
    • When editing a contact record’s address field the SAVE gets stuck processing
      • Previously, when editing an address, the map wouldn’t load and the SAVE button would be greyed out (appearing stuck). Now when editing an address, the map updates immediately and the SAVE button returns to the normal fashion.

Fixes:

    • Export Permissions  –

    • Fix Activities Tab Activity Rendering
      • Activities on the “Activities” tab for a contact are now being rendered mostly from the database, rather than requiring Solr. Users should not notice any change in behavior.
    • Fix Calendar Activity Rendering
      • Activities on the “Calendar” page are now being rendered mostly from the database, rather than requiring Solr. Users should not notice any change in behavior.

Changes:

    • Replaced Icon Hosting
      • The icons we use in Realvolve used to be hosted by a service called Icomoon. Due to a couple of service interruptions with Icomoon, Realvolve completely lost its icons, leading to hours of customer impact. Now we host the Realvolve icons on our servers to prevent external service-related downtime.
    • Cancellation Process in RV seems to be failing
      • Account leaders can cancel their account on the My Settings page under the “Plan And Billing Info” section. First they click on the “Start Cancellation Process” button and then click on “Cancel At End Of Billing Period”. If they have not previously accepted a special offer a “Cancellation Wizard” is supposed to display. In some cases it was not properly displayed. Now it does.
    • Option for team size in the trial sign up form are incorrect
      • The trial sign-up form had a bunch of incorrect options for team size, because it was fetching from a HubSpot attribute that was configured incorrectly. This resulted in Chargify accounts not being created for some users depending on the option that was selected. This fix removes the dependency on Hubspot, and ensures that all options in the team size dropdown correctly create subscriptions in Chargify for new users.

      • Preventative measures taken to eliminate the treat of XSS, SSRF, IDORS and OAUTH exploits.

Fixes:

    • Unknown Contacts created for received SMS messages that should have been added to existing Contacts
      • Previously, when receiving a message to your realvolve-issued SMS number, country codes included in contacts’ phone number fields were not properly accounted for. This meant that a message coming in from +17745555555 would not match 17745555555 or 7745555555. The contact lookup code has been updated so that when messages come in from a number including a country code, it matches the right contact record and adds the Note in Realvolve as expected.
    • Google Contacts Sync deleting contacts and not synching all contacts; all settings and tags checked.
      • Google Contacts Sync no longer deletes contacts, even if they have been deleted from Realvolve. This means deleting a contact in Realvolve will not delete the contact in Google, and deleting the contact in Google will not delete the contact in Realvolve.
    • Fix Contact Heat Graph Dashboard Widget
      • The Contact Heat Graph Dashboard widget had a couple bugs remaining from the last pass of changes, notably the colors of the boxes being inconsistent as well as the text beneath the labels when hovering over boxes. Now, the boxes are correctly colored according to the max score of a contact in that box. When a box is red, that means that at least one contact in that box should be followed up with as soon as possible, because they have a high contact score and are more trusted than other contacts. (Previously, it was an average across each stage/status bucket, so very important contacts were sometimes shadowed by many new contacts in the same stage/status bucket. This now fixes that and essentially says – if the square is red, focus your efforts on those contacts first.)

Fixes:

    • Fix Volume Report and Commission Pipeline Graph Widgets
      • The Volume Report and Commission Pipeline Graph Dashboard Widgets were reporting either incorrect, or no data. This patch fixes them, and reports the appropriate data to the widgets.
    • Fix Contact Source Graph Widget
      • The Contact Source Graph Widget was reporting incorrect data. This patch fixes it, and makes it so the widget shows all of the relevant contact sources, not just one.
    • Unknown Contacts created for received SMS messages that should have been added to existing Contacts
      • This issue is partially resolved by this release. If Contacts have been reindexed recently, it may work. Otherwise, an Unknown Contact may still be created when receiving an SMS message. However, this does fix a similar issue when importing Contacts.

Changes:

  • Replace pricing table with Customer Service message
    • The pricing information is currently incorrect on the “Plan And Billing Info” section of the Settings > My Account page. We have temporarily replaced the pricing table with the message “If you would like to make changes to your Realvolve plan, please click here to submit a support ticket.”
  • Google Contacts
    • This release addresses several under-the-hood problems with Google Contacts Sync, mostly centering around deleted contacts in Google. Suppose you have Marge Simpson in Google. If you delete her in Google she will now get added again next time you sync contacts from Realvolve. Note: Right now it appears that you have to manually click “Sync Now” in order to recreate a contact that was deleted in Google.
  • Phone numbers not displaying when viewing Contacts from List of Tags
    • Currently in production, there is an issue where opening the list of Tags on the left side of the Dashboard and then clicking on a Tag will display a list of Contacts and their main contact info. That works correctly for the most part, but only the Contacts that are initially loaded will display their phone numbers. This fixes that issue so that all Contacts in the list will have their phone numbers displayed, even after scrolling through the list.

Fixes:

  • Dashboard Widgets
    • The data for the dashboard widgets used to be stored in a holding area for speed. This led to a ton of problems where the Support Team needed to update graphs for some users daily. Now, all of the data for all of the graphs is stored in the database. This means users will have access to correct data and the Support Team will no longer need to update the graphs for users.
      • Contact Cross Section
      • Volume Pipeline
      • Predicted Revenue
      • Contact Source
    • This will also correct problems displaying in the mobile app.
  • Property and Transaction Sort Order
    • Properties and transactions will now be sorted in the correct order when choosing the ‘Address’ option available in the Sort By field above the list of Properties or Transactions on the left side of the Dashboard.
  • Property and Transaction Name In-Place Editor
    • When editing the name of the property or transaction the information was not correctly showing the changes until the next screen refresh.

Changes:

  • Update Google Contacts Sync to only delete contacts deleted from Realvolve
    • The most recent changes to Google Contacts Sync were intended to make groups in Google mirror tags in Realvolve. That meant any contacts not in Google that were not in Realvolve were being deleted. This change updates the behavior so only contacts actually deleted from Realvolve will be deleted from Google. This means that it is entirely possible for there to be contacts in Google that are not in Realvolve.

Fixes:

  • Corrected Image/Attachment Upload issue on templates/emails
    • This problem was caused by a Facebook Ad Pixel which was preventing the upload process from completing its process.    We have removed the Facebook Ad Pixel to correct this issue.

Changes:

  • Google Contact Sync
    • What’s the change?
We will be moving to a one-way push of contacts from Realvolve to Google. We will no longer allow contacts to travel from Google to Realvolve.
    • Why is this better?
Realvolve has very little control on what Google does with your data, changes they make, or how other applications integrated with Google affect the accuracy of your database. This change will allow for a much higher level of data integrity.
    • So what should I do moving forward?
Moving forward, you will need to create new contacts and make your contact edits in Realvolve. The mobile app is the perfect tool to accomplish this on the go. Once a contact has been added, or a contact has been changed, those changes will be reflected in Google.
    • If you have duplicate contacts in your database, utilize our merge tool from the view all screen or the Merge Wizard from your settings. Please be very intentional with any merging of contacts as this action cannot be undone once completed.Note: any merging or contact edits in Google will not be recognized in Realvolve.
